Wanted Junk FJ40 (~1971) CARB or the part (1 Viewer)

Looking for a junk / rusty / cracked / incomplete FJ40 Carb (ca. 1971) for parts.
OR - ideally and in particular looking for the TINY spring that sits on top of the TINY ball that sits in the smaller housing next to Accelerator Pump. Somehow it went missing in a rebuild

You can make a reasonable substitute by cutting down a suitable spring from a Ballpoint click pen. The discharge weight (thing that holds the spring down) should sit just above the surface of the throttle body (1-2mm?) with the spring installed.

Spike Strip - that is awesome information, thank you!! I was worried about finding spring w/ correct tension etc.
(Still interested in a junk carb, but going forward w/ this plan now!)

That specimen is NOT Baby Yoda - it is my 10 year old Chihuahua, "Henning"

So apparently my year does not take a spring, but has a “weight”..and diagram shows a rubber gasket on top (that was in kit)...

so what part # in your diagram do you actually need ?

im a bit confused by the Weight reference

Sorry for confusion...the parts needed are now:
- external accelerator pump spring (the one on the outside pump arm push rod
- fuel inlet screen (the small copper/mesh screen inside inlet

or a full junk carb

I figured out the other issue as correct diagram clarified no spring needed (my mistake)
