So, I ordered new seat covers from Cruiser Corps. The front ones are ok, looks great, but the rear ones for the jump seats are way too small. They supposed to be for 1979-1984 FJ40, BJ (500-115a). I didn’t thought it more, but now I noticed there is different model jump seats for models with the factory roll bar.

These are maybe meant only for the roll bar version, despite there was said nothing about it. The dimensions were told, but the seats were in my storage at the moment, so I didn’t measured them before ordering.

These are much longer jump seats, the same seats are in 1979-1984 BJ40 and BJ42 in Europe.

Are these similar than the some earlier ones which are sold in US earlier?

I have not reached Cruiser Corps yet, but would this model fit to these: Seat Covers / Rear Jump Seats

Is the backrest lower in that 1972-1973 model? Could somebody measure? Mine is about 10”.

For 1972-1973:

31.5 inches X 10 inches. My build date is 9-73 and the bottom cushions have the angled front, I assume to clear the bucket seats. I installed a roll bar, so while I had them torn down for upholstering I made up brackets that bolt through the top cushion frame work and then fasten to the roll bar. The roll bar pushes the seat out far enough that the rubber pads that used to sit on the wheel well for support no longer make contact. So I made up some brackets that bolt through the wheel well and the rubber pads rest on them when the lower pad is lowered.
