July Trip to Colorado

Hey Onur -

I'd like to give that Cedro Peak trail a try. I've been in the area, but never on that one in particular. It looks like fun and it never hurts to have a map and some coordinates.

We could use my house as a staging area to gather for anyone that wants to join along. We're probably only 10 - 15 minutes away from the trail at that point. I can give some directions for whoever needs them.

We're looking at Sunday morning, and the trip write-up in the link mentioned three hours to complete the trail.

What time is good for you, Onur, to give you enough time to get to work? Do we want to look at meeting at my place around 8:00 or 8:30?

Should be fun!

8am is perfect Evan. Can you PM/post directions to your house from Guiterrez Canyon road? I know you are near Ali's, so I can figure it out from there.

I started a new thread for the Sunday run to Cedro Peak. We'll plan on 8 AM Sunday morning at my house - directions are posted in the new thread.

I have a GPS, but I'm definitely a novice at using it. I'll give it a shot.

Oh shoot, I just stumbled on a Holy Cross link from one of the Colorado LC clubs and now I'm thinking of heading that way when the truck is fixed.

Yes, I'm dying to know who all is going on this trip as well (plain curiosity). Lots of interest was voiced at the last mtg but I'm not seeing a lot of commitment

We decided to not go. I would just be finishing up the 4runner tomorrow. We will be going up there just sometime next month. Maybe we could head up with you Brandon?
