Everybody who is interested get your schedule together and we can decide at the meeting Saturday when and where. If you can't make the meeting (or even if you can) feel free to post dates etc. on this thread.

I've put in for July 5-8 off. I love the Ouray/Durango/Telluride area. I think it sets up a place for a nice basecamp and take off to lots of different wheeling.

For those with campers/rv's I think Molas Pass with Molas Lake (or Little Molas Lake) has a place to stay with hook-ups. If other family members don't want to wheel Durango is a short trip away. For the kids the community pool is fantastic with slide and water playground.

That's my vote and I've been waiting to wheel around these parts since last year. My second child was too little last year and now she's ready to go.:bounce:

I might be in. I think I'd prefer San Juan Mountains because it's been 2 years since I've been there. I've been on Black Bear and Imogene. I'd like to try the stuff north of Silverton and SE of Ouray. Now I just have to figure out if I'll have enough vacation left after next week.

Now,

There's the time to go.

But,

They feed us................

The dates I took off were because it was mentioned from the last meeting I attended at Shawn's. If you guys want to go hang out with a bunch of low riders then Espanola is closer.

If the dates change then I need a new club.:flipoff2: JK

haha, he just called you a low rider Mike!!!

I am kinda torn here. I like the idea of it being our club run, but it would be nice to go to another event.

Looks like I'll be in Colorado for all of July!

I browsed the registration page for the FJ Summit and it looks as though ONLY FJs are welcome to register. There's no place to enter a vehicle other than an FJ - they only want to know is your FJ ... 1) stock; 2) cosmetic "improvements"; 3) suspension and undercarriage enhancements, etc.

Take a look and check it out.

They never even mention Poughkeepsie Gulch...

Clarification...

I posted the dates of that event because it is in July and it is in the Ouray area. I am *not* suggesting that we participate with that event. In fact, I would be against that as a suggestion. Our July event is planned as a CLUB function and I would like it to stay that way. We are free to plan camping and fishing and sight-seeing or whatever we want to do.

also did you see the cost?

$75 to register and $15 for each passenger...

and it didn't look like they provided camping areas.
