not too much business as usual. next meeting i won't be able to make it, so if Steve H can he will run the meeting, Skipper is 2nd back up, and if all else fails, i'll let Marc know what to discuss and he'll run it. one way or the other, the meeting will go on, at Marc's place, second saturday in August.
who is planning on attending the Colorado run? plans should be starting to firm up very soon on where to set up base camp (Marc showed some people a spot he knew of that may be good). ease of access to the highway to reach other trails should be strongly considered. what trails to run, should be discussed as well. use the thread dedicated to that event for these discussions.
October Moab trip- Jon has secured one camp spot in Devil's Kitchen on Elephant hill trail for the first night (Thursday). he has 3 nights reserved and we can whittle that down to whatever we want. we should get at least 1 more spot. i can do that and will in the next couple days. each spot can hold up to 3 vehicles and 10 people. we talked of using Pack Creek campgound in Moab itself. i will call and get info on that for everyone.
it has been requested by a few people to make a phone/email list of club members to distribute to other members. anyone not want their #'s given to the membership? i will send the list directly to members by email or snail mail. nothing on the website or on this board.
