No problem. Last year the meet up point was the Target parking lot at 630. Then top off gas in Gardiner as the last decent price and Cooke City as needed. I’ll have kids in tow so may need a couple of stops in between.
Thetoyotaman.....how old are your kids. I might be able to make this if I drag my boys along. They are 6 and 8. I'm a little on the fence as they could be a lot of work, but if there are other kids going, it could be a blast. I"m new to all of this.

I have 6 & 8 year olds. @REZARF might bring one too.
Oh boy........that could tip the scale for me as I'm sure the kids would all run around and burn the candle at both ends. I'd say we're 95% green light and will keep yall posted either way. If we go, we'll join the Saturday morning convoy and be prepared for everything.

Thinking I'm going thru Red Lodge. Unclear where I'm camping tonight, either down in Red Lodge or up at the turnoff. Depends on what time I leave Missoula.

Thanks for letting me tag along this weekend. I had a great time.

This morning when I hit the road, I was in between the Goose Lake trail turnoff and Cooke City, I was pulling over to get some photos with the purple flowers on the south side of the road and a cow moose crossed the guard rail, I was in awe! She then looked back and the calf stepped over the guard rail. Talk about a bonus! I snapped a few photos and was about to change to my bigger lens to get a better photo and someone driving down the road spooked them and off they went.

I got some really good photos, I'll share them once I get them uploaded. I have slow internet at the house, but I got great views.

Wow Mike @nohermosa you could be a professional photographer. 😉

I need a lesson, those pics are amazing!

Looking at those @nohermosa and I’m sitting here thinking I don’t even need to add anything.

So, the Lexus has had a lot of upgrades since last year from tires to armor and it really transformed the vehicle for the trail. I was able to make it to the end this year. There were plenty of spotters and good times for all. I didn’t even have problems with the hitch hauler.
