After the last rain storm, I noticed the head liner on passenger side in cargo area was wet and water dripping. After some HW on this great forum, I got pointed to the 3rd brake light. It will rain on Thursday so I'll see how it holds up, roof rack will be next if this doesn't work.

Got some NAPA plastic wedges to pop the light out and some black silicon gasket maker. Upon removal, one of the two nuts was about to fall off the 1" threaded stud. Well bingo, the ctr clips were already broke off and the light was bowing.

ended up adding a thicker bead to the top after I took this picture because the light was bowing so much without the center clips.

who doesn't love new truck parts porn?

Rear brake upgrade arrive, fronts will be here next week. I still need to get stuff for the front wheel bearings. I plan to install the rears tomorrow afternoon while we get rain here in San Diego. The 3rd brake light leak above didn't stop all the water last night, so I'm going to fish out the gutter lines and maybe the OEM rack and add silicon to those bolts too.

DBA t3 4000 series rotors and Hawk LTS pads. These were slightly cheaper than EBC greens (pair) so I guess I can try them first.

The previous owner did the brake wrong and had the pad retainer clips facing the rotor and filing in a grove into the cast iron rotor for over tens of thousands of miles aka Saturn ring. Lucky I planned to replace the whole set without knowing the F up. I installed slotted DBA 4000 series rotors and Hawk semi metallic LTS pads. Oh so nice to have some brake modulation back

been a while....added a storage platform built on 12' pipes and 3/4" red oak ply.

I was really trying to keep the kicker sub box under the platform but it's 15" tall and has to get laid down and conflict with space from 2 15 gal totes plus the tool box. Sub is mounted speaker towards the rear behind the cooler. pretty close to kiddos' head so I may move in the future and down size the 15g totes.
