I’ve had a 100 series for the last 5 years and been trolling offer up, here, and marketplace for an 80 series. A good friend of mine owners this and it was his baby. He randomly reached out and said if it was ever leaving his driveway that he wanted it with me. Drive with the fam to Yuma from San Diego and picked it up. It’s a 1992 with 255k miles on it. Super happy to daily it here. I’m going to remove some glue and double sided tape from the window trim where those plastic visors were. He gave me the whole maintenance history and records and made sure everything was up to date which was awesome. I’m going to ditch the round roof bars for some flat roof bars or a new rack to put surfboards on and to match my Thule surf racks that only fit on flat crossbars. Looks like those front runner racks would do the trick.
