Rolling Oaks Sports Bar is where we had our December meeting. Great place to sit outside and listen to good live music. They usually have the Live Texas Country Music series on Thursdays sponsored by Shiner Bock (ew). Music starts at 8 and is OVER by 10 due to an agreement with the neighbors.

I haven't seen the John D. Hale Band before but their cd "One of a Kind" is very good. If I don't get out to see them next week, I am definitely looking forward to seeing them at Roundup

edit: If you enjoy this sort of music, Adam Hood is playing at Rolling Oaks tomorrow night. Very fun band. No cover if you bring a canned food item for the food bank.

The JDH Band is a "Cruiser band" they play the largest Cruiser event in Texas.....again this year......maybe you have heard of it, down in Katemcy...The Roundup?.......they also just got booked to play Gruene Hall this Sat nite......
