JDM Birfield rebuild (1 Viewer)

Hey y'all,

First post, been reading forums for a long time, taking care of my Japanese import FZJ80, I'm in the US.

I am needing to rebuild the Birfields due to soup... My question is, is there a difference in Birfield rebuild kits between US and JDM models? As in, if I get a Nitro or CruiserOutfitter rebuild kit, am I good to go?

As long as they come with Koyo or Timken Bearings, you're probably fine.

I'd say yes, they should be the same

No difference, our FA9097 variant kits have all the parts you need including the few extra gaskets that can be necessary on some import 8x models.

I used Cruseroutfitters kit. Everything and a few extras. Great kit, even better service.
