I just got our mail, and the cover of the newest J.Crew catalog has a SWEET, restored FJ45 LWB pickup. Looks super clean, a little darker than the stock beige or at least it looks like that in the pictures. Matching soft-top and rear tilt, even restored CA yellow-on-black vintage license plates. I bet it's one of those TLC trucks, looks like their handiwork.

Saw that a few days ago. Sweet looking truck. Of course, it was my daughter's JCREW mag...not mine. Not that there's anything wrong with that...

That does look pretty sweet. Although the soul of that truck is probably turning in its grave.

LWB with the Bandy bed? I agree, Pimp, definitely looks like a TLC jobber. The cover is a frontal shot, looks really cool. Don't have a scanner, guys! Wife already complaining that I cut up the cover! :)

The bed in that JCREW has lower sides than this one...not sure about the length.

    Hi All:

"Roscoe," is that soft top HJ47 an ex-Aussie Army rig? It is a particular rig! (but cool!)

Your right Alan. They were used mainly by reservists with local knowledge of the remote nw coastal areas.
Their main job is to set up observation posts and be self sufficent for long periods.
