@nvrlose54 recommended this light kit from Toyota. Comes with 2 whole new headlights and a new harness/relays/fuses that plug right in to the old harness but draw more juice. For $50, I’ll give it a shot.
The off-road lights look good! I bought the Toyota light kit too…still a ways from install of them but hoping they will be much better than the 1969 factory ones that looked like a dim candle!

@DTC72 ill will report back soon!

@Megadoomer there are only so many people that can 1) stand be be with for 8 days straight 2) trust to drive the pig 3) get off work for a week the same time I can :)

I really hope in a few weeks will work out. Going to cold to some Alabama boys, but we’ll make it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE FLYING PIG!!! She turns one today after her heart, lungs, stomach, bones, and legs transplant! For her special day she got working electric lockers!!

The lockers took me forever because I had the “body harness” wiring that plugs into the actuator motor and not the “actuator harness” that are the first 6” or so that actually go into the motor part itself.

All Toyota e lockers have the same wiring directly at the actuator motor, but then changes at the plug for different vehicles. This truck is even different from front to rear. It was super fun to take all this stuff apart and make my own wiring diagrams.

I am using the quick solder thingies, heat shrink, and heat shrink ends on every wire. It is incredible how long it takes to do this right. I don’t want to have to go back and do it again though. Or catch on fire again :) 6 connections at the diff, 12 connectors at the controller, 4 ends at the switch, fused hot, solid ground, covering, hold downs…. For each locker! Woodang!

Thanks guys. I had the 80 dial, but think the pull knobs look good in this truck and the 80 dial makes the rear lock and then the front so I have more options like this.

Look at this nerd with his roof top tent :) :(
Going to spend 2-3 nights in it this weekend!

Sorry, no scottle or maxtraxxxxx, just a RTT, 55 gallons of gas, gumbo, and three 12 year olds with fishing poles and s’mores. I’m only 15% overlander.

Cruising @80 mph, scan gage showing 97* intake temp, 198* water temp, and 2650 RPM with AC on blast and pig fully loaded down.

Need to get a real intake made, mount spare tire on the back, and get some stiffer springs.
