The wifey tells me she coming to CMCC and camping at RC but I really don't see that happening. I'm going to try to bring the 45 either way.

Well now, that's icing on the cake for me then!:bounce::bounce:

Heck, I might even resort to packing my camera!

Looks great! Nice work.

Was white the original toyota color for this 45?

It had been painted so many times it's hard to tell but I believe it was originally white.

Bob, if you're in need of a driver to get that rig to CMCC, I'm your man! Just get it to Manassas by Wednesday eve and I'll drive it the rest of the way MYSELF!

You KNOW I have plenty of experience and road miles behind the wheel of a 45.;)

looks great Bob
I can't wait to see it again . It sure looks better then the 1st time I saw it when it was nicknamed "snowflake" with the crappy camo job done 5 owners ago .
It needs the headache rack put back on to finish it off . That was the last NOS rack in the US over 10 years ago

Mark - thanks for the offer but I ran out of time to put the xfr case back in mt 40 so I only have the 45 to take to CMCC. Which Manasshole are you staying with?

Thanks 76FJ40.

My wife has agreed to let me find and buy one of these!

Anything I can do to help the cause. My wife really enjoys driving her 45.

Old thread i know, but working on my hj45 im very curious on the specs of this it looks awesome! Tyre size, rim size/offset, suspension Lift etc?

The tires are 35 12.50 15 Goodyear MT/R. The wheels are American Eagle model 102 With the standard offset I think. It has a 2 1/2” suspension lift from SOR.

A previous owner butchered the rear wheel openings so I made the flares that are on it now.

What else would you like to know?

Thanks for the reply! 35's sure look great together with the suspension, and i think you did a nice job on the flares.
Standard offset you mean et 0?
And rims width something like 8j?

Reason i want to know is im putting hj61 cable lock axles under the 45 which are allready wider as standard, dont want to stick the wheels outside the body too much but yours looks perfect.

Thanks, The wheels are 10” wide with standard backspacing which I think is 3 1/2” backspacing and no offset as I recall.

According to this chart it should be 5.5" backspacing with 10" rims and zero offset then?
Any rubbing?
Its hard to get a decent measurement/idea on the 45 without buying or borrowing somebody else his wheels :)

I measured the wheels the best I could and it looks like 3.5" backspace so a negative 2" offset.

Bob I did not realize you live in Virginia. I used to live in the Tidewater area and my wife was born and raised in Chesapeake.

Yup, I live in Amissville. about 40 miles west of DC.
