Hey guys, do you happen to know the ball size these trailers use? I have the opportunity to acquire one from my Grandpa, that from what I have seen in pictures looks to be in excellent condition. I was just hoping to avoid taking along my collection of hitch balls on my road trip to get it.

Thanks,

Dan

unless somebody changed it ...it will be a 1 7/8" ball.

they did not come prewired...sooo...you may want to find out what light connector setup he has on his....or....you may be winging it on the fly like i had to do :)

when you get it PM me the vin...a buddy is collecting a database of info about them....and...

POST SOME PICS :)

yep thats a bradley...what did he put ontop? a kinda camper conversion? or did he get it that way

either way cool...you dont happen to have a vin # for it do ya?...if so cam you PM me the info for a DB trailer registry a friend is running

Johnny C ... All in good time my man... I've got an 8 hour one-way drive I gotta plan out to go get the thing. My brother and mom shot the pix for me. The stories I've heard are of my mom her twin and 2 brothers sleeping on the bottom shelf and Granny and Grandpa sleeping on the shelf above... my mom was born in 1950 so I'll be from that time frame... Grandpa built the top for it to be removable and the big box on the back kept the kitchen stuff... from the pix it looks to be in really good shape with just surface rust and bearings that need re-greased.

Dan

cool trailer for sure.............looking forward to more pic's of it------------

Anyone making a run from Madison Wi. to Omaha Ne anytime soon? Better chance for fresh pix if you are... Course if I can make the run myself I get to see Granny and Grandpa which in my book is the real reason for making the run up there... but yeah when I get it down here I'll photo document my whole refresh of the trailer for sure.

Dan

Dang:rolleyes:-====just got back ftom Omaha NE last Sat. ( really) was there on Friday and drove back to Gawja.....long ride for sure===========pretty country out that way---good hunting too=======:steer:

My dad just picked up a Bradley trailer for $250 or so. Other than a few dents it's in good shape. I'll have to get some pics and post them up.

my sear's trailer.............bought it several years ago for 15 bucks at a yard sale, it all camoed up now:hillbilly: with a boat winch and 360 deg hoist ( the hoist fits into a reese type hitch,i welded to the floor of the trailer & it bread down it 2 pieces for easy hauling)to load deer and wild hogs, and i pull it back to camp with my golf cart,4 wheeler or fj40.

saw one like it on Clist ( camping trailer like mine with the top.....made for hauling camping gear.Antique Camping Trailer just a add is saw not mine)

Here's some pics of my Bradley. My grandfather bought from a coworker in the late 50's. He modified it to put a camper shell on it for a small camper for hunting season. It fits a full size mattress above the bed. He also put on the rack. The close ups are where a canopy he made screwed in for a cook tent off the side. It's got the original 16" implement wheels and 15" Toyota wheels of my dads early 80's hilux. Had the original spare mount on the front and underneath the rear. Needs some work and plan on fixing it soon. Sorry for the hijack.

Found one I'm on the fence about. Doesn't look like it ever had the tie down pegs, instead has key ways. Also has smooth plated bottom instead of diamond plate.
