Where to oil pan hits is rite on the pinion flange for the front drive shaft if i can just get it to go back in to place so the trans mount can bolt up it will be the stoping point for the engine amd i can build around that see what iam saying ? Iam useing the facotey trans mount on the 450 and tcase to show me where the engine mounts will need to go . Then work around it from there .

An idea i had was take out the evap core message it in just wnuf to get a intake hose over the turbo at a decent angle so it wont restrict air flow . That would solve that issue . But before i can do any of this i should probly take the trans off the engine and install it and keep working the engine backwards untill it will mount with enuf room to vibrate a little with out contacting .

As far as the starter i do have a much much lowerprofile starter that should clear . And wont require as much bashing of the fire wall and trans tunnel.

Ok had another thought. What about cutting a hole in the fire wall big enuf for the air intake hose then run it thru and back out ?. Not sure that would work just tossing ideas at the moment .

Sweet, glad you got a thread going!

Id rather run a intake hose through the hood Mad Max style than cut into the firewall and stuff. That's just me though.

Well i got another plan . I was talking to some freinds in aus . And they are sending me a 50 milimeter body lift kit . That should give me what iam looking for as far as room. Now i am going to install the trans in its factory mounts and block the front about where it needs to be. Then iam going to start working the engine to the trans . Now i can cut a small slit in the under angle of the factory cruiser frame mounts aand drop there angle about 4 degress then the rubbers should drop rite in .

I can’t tell from your pic, but would it be easier to just use a different turbo?

Welll i have not searched yet but thats possable . See what you can dig up for a good 4he1 turbo thats ether universal or turn able . Remember the manifold wont flip. Also the turbo flange bolts two of them are farther apart than the other to width wise.

What bolt pattern is the turbo mount?

No, 4bd2T won’t bolt up. I had to buy a Dustin adapter. I don’t know if he makes them anymore.

@anothernord just incase this 4he1 wont work keep an eye out for me for a mitsubishi 4d34t with bellhouseing and tq converter i know the aw450 came on them aswell so i can still use my hybrid set up lets just make sure and line up this engine option ahead of time so i dont get screwed here . and being there on the front range there are a lot more trucks like that then out here in corn country . so if you dont mind please keep an eye out . once again its a mitsubishi 4d34-t

tell ya what pm me your phone number and i can call or txt you about what all is going on at the moment if you want?

i really want to run this 4he1 cuz its very low miles and it good a sturdy however iam going to try a 2inch body lift and a bit of tapping to see if i can make her fit the trans fits ok minus the bell houseing so i am going to not have a choice but to beat on her unless i can do the 4d34-t here at the last min

Well guys iam just about to pull the trigger on a 4d34-3at3b with aw450 unless anybody can come up with a way to fit this bastard in here . Iam all ears.. so its probly going to end up for sale reall soon.

Well sence iam not to many millions in to this i said screw it and got me a 99 4d34 with the proper bell houseing and torq converter for my aw 450 so it should be here next week
