Issue with Nitro Gear Rear 9.5 Pinion Thread Size??? (1 Viewer)

So my gear install was moving along good till I hit a snag with the pinion nut. I went to put it on and it slid right over the threads. I'm thinking I must have the wrong nut. After trying 3 other nuts with the same results, I grabbed the 8'' pinion for the front. Oh look it threads right on. So the 9.5'' pinion treads are smaller than the 8'' pinion threads???

Has anyone else had this issue?

And yes the box has the right part number and description.

Call Cruiser Outfitters and get the right nut.

Has this always been the case or did they change this recently?
I ordered the entire master regear kit with bearings from nitro. You would think it would include the correct bolt.
