Hey everyone! I installed a set of 24V isspro guages in my 82 bj 42. mech. oil and water , pyro. The oil pressure and pyro worked right from the get go but the mech. water temp was limp. Now I had bought the guages about 7 months ago and the truck was up on jack stands for m0ost of that time. I was kinda worried about what Isspro would say when I called to ask for help. I bought them directly from them over the phone. NO PROBLEM!!!! the tech guy just said " well send another" A few days later the UPS man shows up in my driveway with the new guage! Changed them out and everyones happy! Just want to say there good people, the guages are great and I want to reccomend them highly to anyone needing 24v guages. TIM

I have the isspro's in my truck too, pods and all right on the dash, I've loved them ever since the install, the only thing I think about is how hot the egt's must have gotten before a pyro was installed, poor old 3b, she never did anyone any harm....

they must all run hot

Yeah mine was running around 1400-1500 at first. I backed off quite a bit on the fuel adjustment and now I can cruise at 60 mph on th parkway at about 1100 but I still have to keep a light foot and climb the hills [lots around here] at 40 or its right back up there. Thinking of going to 3" exhaust and flow thru muffler. The one on there now is 2" and even less in the bends. Iwill try to get a pic on here soon of the whole rig. I've been working on it for a full year and have lots more planned as time and money allow. Tim

i would like to see some pics of the gauges and pods if you guys have a chance!
i bought a mookeeh pyrometer: http://www.mookeeh.com/gauge.html and a glowshift boost gauge for mine. i like the mookeeh gauge and had never heard of it before i bought it but when you turn on the ignition it is set so the gauge will go all the way to full and then back to the proper temp. this is just a function of the gauge but i thought i was shorting it out when i hooked it up. as for the glow shift gauge i think its a P.O.S., it makes noise from inside: internal air leak i think.
if i did it agin i would buy a pyrometer, boost and mechanical oil gauge all from the same manufacturer because i dont like the mismatch of different gauges and would look at a 3 pod pillar setup if i could find one. i see glowshift sells a setup like this that will change 7 colours but i think i would be skeptical of the quality of these gauges based on the boost gauge i own.
