Is this the right throw out or clutch release bearing?

I have a 70 3 spd. Ordered from CC and got this with my clutch kit. I'm confused is it the wrong bearing or does it need to be pressed onto the holder which clips on the fork. Thought they came assembled that way. I tried separating the bearing and no go. The holder appears to have wear from the fork also.

Ok figured out its a bearing hub and needs to be pressed off and on. Do I need to replace the bearing hub or are the polished indentions normal?

Semi normal. Apply a grease dab to the contact points when installing.

Make sure the bearing is pressed on in the proper orientation.

I'm sorry to have to bring this back up, but I'm confused which side of bearing is the flat surface? Pic #1 or #2?
