    Read this story from yahoonews....

Is it any wonder that the country that produced this idiot is the same country
that banned individual ownership of firearms expecting crime to decrease
when in fact crimes have doubled...unbelievable! This is what "activism" gone
wrong looks like folks...whatever happened to the likes of Renoir, Monet, and
    Rembrandt? Artist? I think not...

Wimp - If he really wanted to make a statement he would have turned on the hot tap wasting not just the water but also the energy trying to heat it as it goes down the drain.

Dude (artist Mark Friedman) just sold a 8"x12" piece of white paper with a pen scribble on it called "Getting a Ball Point Pen Started" for $26k. His white cube with a dot of his own feces on it didn't sell however.

Well, left side would be my guess. Check whichever side of him has allowed some wrenching issues to turn into "hate" towards the rig he actually loves. :D

Nah, he's a jack-ass. There are other more creative ways to protest the waste of water.

    Guy needs an idea.

i'm not going to vote yes or no on the art thing, but what he's doing seems in line with his previous antics.

"McGowan previously participated in equally audacious exhibitions including sitting in a bathtub of baked beans with french fries in his nose to support the full English breakfast, and pushing a nut with his nose for seven miles to protest student debt."

while i think protest can be done artfully, art in the name of protest just isn't..art. eh.. what ever.
if he tried that here, i'd just shoot him.

I think there is art in everything. There is a fine art of picking my nose but I wouldn't consider it all art. I would considering it mostly picking my nose. So I vote no because it is water wasting is mostly protest rather than art.
It would be more art he wasted water more creatively like filling a supertanker size bathtub.

London. Probably no hot water in a lavatory tap!
