Impossible to tell without seeing the front and sides of the block. It they're all clean, then yes, that's where it's coming from. I've replaced half a dozen rear mains on as many 80s, and never stopped the leaks. They were all the seal between the two pans.

The block looked very clean during my initial inspection, from above and below. I snapped this pic because this was the only evidence of any seepage on the vehicle.
 
Back end of the valve cover can drip down and show like that. I'm seeing the same drippage. The rear main was changed with the tranny rebuild ~7kmi ago. And the valce cover gasket was replaced about 1kmi ago. And frankly, the leak wasn't there before all that.
