The material in my steering wheel needs reconditioing as it is bending. Can I get this material replaced and reconditioned or do I need to get a new steering wheel. I like this one and would like to repair it if possible.

Eastwood sells kits to repair old style steering wheels.

I found replace, emt steering wheels on eBay fairly cheap

Never mind - Thanks though

you can try but i know it usually doesn't work well with cracked or sun bleached materials. sometimes it takes several applications to notice any real differences but good luck.

There is a material made by Devcon called Flexane. It is technically a hard rubber and can be applied to areas where pieces of missing on such things as steering wheels, gear shift knobs, etc. If it's too hard, a softening agent can be added so that things like weather strip moulding can be fashioned. It's good stuff...
