It's not super difficult to run a GM CS130 alternator or variants thereof. If you want a kit that already has the right pulley and mounting bracket, you can buy one from Mean Green (what I did). It's a modified CS130 that can put out 200 amps. The alternator itself was bolt-on, but you have to do a small amount of wiring to bypass the old external voltage regulator on the firewall and get the signal wire to the new internally-regulated alternator.
