Every now and then I peruse various car sites to see what the highest mileage LC's are in the nation. Stumbled across this one on Copart yesterday, rocking 993k on the odometer.

What is a 'DJ81'? Which market is that originally sold into? Is it a 'native' US market 80 from the very early production times (1990/1/2)? I see the listing claims it to be a 1994 build. Hmmmm

They are basing that on a snipped portion of the international 17 digit VIN. It's an FZJ80, they are simply clueless.
