I lost the A/C belt in my FJ62. Not broken, but popped off the A/C pulley and is just sitting there next to it. Still around what I assume is the crankshaft. Having trouble finding one locally. Can I manage without this belt for a few days?

I could try to put it back on, but I have a 10 mile drive home to my tools and I'm sure it'll get ground down on the way.

here's an image of the belts on the 2F and 3FE...and since you have an FJ62, you most likely have the 3FE...and according to the image, the only pulleys (besides the crankshaft) that run off the a/c belt are the a/c idler pulley and the a/c compressor pulley itself!

Thanks, Slow Left! Yep, 3FE. So I guess I'll just cut it out of there so it doesn't take out any more belts and head home. Looks like I found a replacement belt nearby after all. There goes my plans for the evening!
