I have been strugling w/ oil leaks in back of t-case where the AA T-case carrier goes. I have not being able to fix that since the truck was put together with a strong Chevy V8 in it. It has been regasket several times & leak it still there.
I am tire of dealing with it.
I am not looking for a quick fix, I want that leak gone forever.
I have access to a 700r4 w/ a 241 chevy or a dana 20 or a dana 300 or a 205
the guys fixing the 4spd stock tranny & case will run me a bill about $900.00 not insuring that the leak won't come.
if I replace w/ 700 & 241 will run me little bit less about $500.00
I still have the stock axels w/ a recently rear disc conversion that has not beeing use at all. I can get a 14 bolt or a dana 44 or 60 for about $200.00
Need help making the right decision!
I'd like the chevy 205, Is it to heavy for a crusier?
