I have been strugling w/ oil leaks in back of t-case where the AA T-case carrier goes. I have not being able to fix that since the truck was put together with a strong Chevy V8 in it. It has been regasket several times & leak it still there.
I am tire of dealing with it.

I am not looking for a quick fix, I want that leak gone forever.

I have access to a 700r4 w/ a 241 chevy or a dana 20 or a dana 300 or a 205

the guys fixing the 4spd stock tranny & case will run me a bill about $900.00 not insuring that the leak won't come.

if I replace w/ 700 & 241 will run me little bit less about $500.00

I still have the stock axels w/ a recently rear disc conversion that has not beeing use at all. I can get a 14 bolt or a dana 44 or 60 for about $200.00

Need help making the right decision!

I'd like the chevy 205, Is it to heavy for a crusier?

anybody running this combo?

I am SUA 4 inch lift & 37's mtrs.

Yes, I run my truck hard when it works.

I don't know about the 241, but the 700R4 is a very nice improvement over the manual.

That's a personal opinion and really depends on how you wheel.

A 700R4 to toyota case adapter is about $500-600.

A NP203 GRB to toyota case adapter is about $500, but I don't know if you can put a 203 to a 700R4. If you can, then it gives you a doubler for free, more or less.

You can also center your rear axle and go with a 300 with a 4.0:1 kit.

any body running a 700r & 205 case?

Is it really heavy?

how much & who sell a adapter for the 300
