My neighbor has one. It works well for light fabrication. If you tried to bend tubing for a roll cage however, you would shoot your testicles out your pants legs. No way it would do that, nor would it bend it properly.

It's a flat stock bender, would work great for making a wrought iron type gate w/ lots of curly q's. Not a tubing bender though.

i have a JD2 bender love it can do a lot with it, hell built 3 formula minis with it. Will be bending my cage and fenders/bumper in a couple weeks. Anyways even if you buy a bender you can sell it for nearly what you bought it for after bending what you want. I have about 1500 dollars into my JD2 but i have 12 dies. A harboe freight bender can bend tube but you need to have the right tool for the ob so i think JD2 is the best deal. Pro tools is about the same though we've bent their arms.

Just bought a JD2, 2" die, stand and handle. Was about $850.00 with freight. I haven't had a chance to try it yet but I sure hear good things about it.
