Anyone have comments on performance differences or pics of these, particularly the 800s, on an ARB bumper?
Thx-

Okay, I know what the rounds look like.
I really just want to see what the rectangular ones look like and know whether performance is similar to the rounds...

Their performance is pretty similar. The main reason for the offering of the rectangular vs circle is aesthetics. Some people like one, some like the other.

Plan to pull the trigger next week. Any advice on round versus rectangular?
I'm leaning towards the rectangular 800xs, if for no other reason than they're different than the standard round offroad lamps on an ARB bumper.

I prefer round, personally. Performance is pretty much the same. If you want the 800s, get them.

I think you'll find the rectangle lights will have a beam which is quite wide horizontally, but narrow vertically. Whereas the round lights will throw out an even beam dimension vertically and horizontally. I have the 900XS (round), and have them adjusted so that the drivers side (RHS) light is pointing maybe 1 or 2 degrees outward and dead level, and the passenger side (LHS) light is pointing maybe 3 or 4 degrees outward and dead level. I find this gives me a good spread of light on straight outback roads, bends and up and down hills.

Will these lights help the MY 2000 transmissions last longer? ;p 100 TECH....
