My two cents, do anything to prevent corrosion if you want to keep it. There are 80s with far more miles driving around just fine, and realistically you aren’t going to hit 400K in the next couple of years.
A local MUD member repainted my hood and roof and matched it quite well, this was during Covid. Money was tight and I wanted to prevent corrosion. I have zero regrets.
