Hi, finally thought I'd introduce my car. Bought it about 7 months ago and after spending most of that time in a love/hate relationship with the car, it's beginning to grow on me.
1HZ engine, no electric windows and no central locking, no flares, no tacho, barn doors, part time 4wd, vinyl. Coming from late model vehicles to this has been a massive adjustment. Doesn't help that it has needed a fair amount of work so far - rust spot hidden behind rear quarter panel, heater core has been bypassed and needs replacing, oil cooler corroded and was leaking coolant. I've been so overwhelmed because I have no experience using even basic tools, so I'm hoping I can learn something here. Thanks for reading if you got this far
I'm hoping to upgrade the current 285/85/16 tyres and crappy Hilux rims to bigger tyres with flares, as my next upgrade.
