Hello...Dave Ashton from Solon, Iowa. New member to IH8MUD...found Tall Corn Cruisers on the web site. I currently own three (sort of 4) Landcruisers...66 FJ45, 78 FJ55, 78 FJ40 and the sort of is a 89 FJ62. The sort of is because i dont drive it but seem to maintain it...figure that one out! Anyway, interested in finding out more about your organization and meeting people, like me, who are interested in driving/restoring Landcruisers. I admit to knowing not much about the restoration process but want to learn. Look forward to hearing from you!

Dave

Welcome Dave,
I have been told alot about you place. I have all my friends keeping they're eye's open for cruisers. The town of Solon comes up alot. I live in Newhall, just west of CR. I have your name now, I will have to give you a call and check out your stash. That is if you don't mind?

Not at all. Home phone is 319.624.6242. That is pretty funny...I have my FJ40 parked in the drive, and used to have my FJ45 in the backyard....stop by anytime. You'll be able to find the place.;)

Here are pictures of my cruisers...the 55 is for sale if anyone is interested.

Oh, that pig is beautiful! I've always wanted one... just for giggles, how much?

I would like to get $7000 for it. It runs great. Has a ding in the drivers side rear door and a few rust spots. I have a bunch of photos if you are interested I can email them to you.

If I hadn't just spent about 3/4 of that $ on armoring my 80, then I may have been interested.

You don't see pig often in Iowa, it's really nice to see a well kept one. Did you do the resto yourself?
