Yes, just checked and they are still available in grey. Around $40 each, which isn’t too bad for oem visors made to fit in an 80. You just loose the mirror light on them and the little ears up by the rear view mirror. But it sure is nice having brand new visors that don’t flop around.
@Aloha Jen do you by chance have a link to where you purchased these?

It's the same part number but the B (Gray) is substituted with an E (Oak), just in case you're looking at some used ones.

Have any of the Oak crowd tried SEM / any other flavor/method to re-color grey visors?

For what used Oak visors go for, I’d almost think an upholstery shop rebuild of some would be wiser money invested - maybe?

Thought I'd add to this thread. I went hunting in the junkyard last weekend and ended up with a pair of dual visors from a 1995 Chrysler Concord. Cost me 10 bucks. They fit great at the mount. Had to cut one of the dual visor mounts off and then Dremel out a little route for the plastic visor to mount in. Other than that it is a nice upgrade to the saggy visor and great for blocking out sun. It has the extension built into the main visor as well. Here are some pics..

@ariff -

OK, I’ll bite - what is the point of dual visors?

-Driving curvy roads, or something? That’s my only guess.
I’m being serious, I don’t get it.

But like I told @Aloha Jen - this time of year I near forget what the sun even looks like..... o_O

Yeah it is very useful to cut back on moving the visor from front to side when the sun is being a pain in the butt.. For me I use the feature quite a bit in the moring on the way to work. It is nice to not have to move the visor from the side to the front to block out the sun.

The Chrysler new Yorkers do not fit. Sorry. I was misled.
Congratulations. You played yourself.

Remember if you grab LS400 visors from a pick-a-part that the LC clip is too small. Grab the LS400 clip as well. Fits great looks great doesn’t sag.

I just ordered a set online.
The company, Amayama sent me back an email saying that they are out of stock of the Right hand side.
So they are shipping only the LH side.
Bummer. Same shipping price just for one.
36.79 for LH side
42.57 for RH side
27.36 for shipping
But they are just going to refund me the cost of the RH side since they are out of stock.

I really wanted both so they would match.
Why the RH side is more expensive,,, I have no idea.
-UPDATE- I just got an email from Amayama saying they are canceling my order all together.
Sounds like they are running out of visors.
Said they are out of supply

Any Pictures?
Do they have the wings that fit around the rear view mirror?

I think the right side is more expensive because of the mirror. But that’s just a guess.

Nope. The two LCs I've put them in are sold. IIRC they're the same shape as the OEM LC visors. Maybe slightly wider.

After reading about all the problems other members have with their visors drooping, i guess my truck must be a rare unicorn. My 24 year old visors are still stiff as hell when i go to move them, and they never droop. Watch, now that I've said that, they'll start drooping.

Well sure...I was still plenty stiff at 24...

Middle of page 2 on this thread has all the links.
I just ordered them myself, but I got an email back from Amayama (the link goes to them) saying “ sorry we are out of this item” at first they said they where only out of the RH side but now they sent a new email saying that they are canceling my order altogether.
Bummer

Has anyone ripped the LC visors open to see what's going on inside that is making them sag? Maybe they can be rebuilt and recovered by an upholstery shop for much less than a new visor? Just a thought.

got a used visor from a Mustang and had never been a complaint since except it is slightly smaller...but stiffd strong nonetheless...

It’s not feasible. I think I saw a video on the Toyota Maintenance YouTube channel where he chopped one up. His conclusion was that there’s nothing that can be done to reconditioned them.

salvage yards are full of LS400’s and their terrific visors screw right in to the 80. Be sure to grab the snap mount thingy too since the diameter of the rod is larger on the LS.

I know a guy that fixed his, I believe his word was 'rebuilt'. Unfortunately I didn't get details and he's not on Mud. But it can be done, I did see the result and it looks and works as it should.
