How do I turn on interior light (on driver's side B pillar)? That little plastic tab on the bottom has got to be the on-off switch, right? Mine won't budge in any direction. Before I try to force it and snap it off thought I'd post here. Thanks!

P.S. Already unscrewed light from pillar. Can't see anything on back side that would prevent switch from sliding.

That problem with the switch is common. Replacements have a simpler lever switch mechanism.

Squirt some silicone spray into the switch and exercise it carefully.

spotcruiser is right - the '79 (?)-and-later models have a lever that rocks, rather than slides, and it's a better design, and less prone to getting hung up.

Spot/Steve -- Thanks for your responses !

Cruiserboy: Good to know, thanks. can you post or message me the part #?
