I feel for the guy that had the car accident but think they should have found a real vet.
While the people should be commended for their actions they were being fooled.
Being a combat veteran and sustaining injury in the line of duty I have a great deal of respect for all veterans and empathy for those that suffer from physical or mental injuries.
Despite my criticism of the video I hope it helps others to be more sensitive to our veterans and anyone else with mental or physical disabilities.

I haven’t been able to watch it all, yet. It’s too close to home. I was treated very badly over misunderstandings of my TBI, and the people who did it were heralded as my victims. Very twisted.

That would get me going in a f-ing minute. Although I commend those that stood up for the guy I think it was a poor choice of subject matter.

Semper Fi

Agreed, an experience at a restaurant is a fleeting moment in the grand scheme of things.
I'm going to get all philosophical and shyt now.

Don't treat people badly, luckily some of these folks stepped up. I hope to never see something like that in real life. Things would get ugly real fast.
