hey all.

im new to the site, found it cruising the web,
im all the way from australia, western australia to be exact.

ive been digging around on hjere for about an hour looking for info on intercooling

i drive a 1991 80 series Sahara, 4.2L turbo with the 1HD-T engine.
im looking at intercooling it.
ive found there isnt much info anywhere, i have heard stories about people using WRX intercoolers and front mounts. im looking at air to air just because its the easiest and cheapest.

just wondering if anyone out there has done this and got soem pics i can look at?

thanks in advance

all the best

Golding ,Try the Robson brothers in Midvale. I think they play around with that kind of stuff.
Also try some of the diesel fuel injection shops in Osbourne Park.
Its best not to start a new post but if it dont get moved then start a new one in the diesel/24 volt forum. The International forum has been split into a 70/75 series forum and diesel/24 volt forum.

Hi Rob.

You should take a look at Maarten Vershure's intercooler, he makes one that is probably the most robust and largest for the 80-series truck. He's locataed in Holland,

http://www.all-american.nl/

his website is currently "under construction", but you really need to consider his stuff, it's the best.

Also, if you are not already on it, I strongly suggest joining the Australia 80-series forum on yahoo.

lcool_aus-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

and also the international forum on yahoo,

80scool-subscribe@yahoogroups.com

You'll find tons of excellent diesel info on there, and a few
users of Maarten's stuff.
