Is this intake elbow original to the build?
On my desmogged, Holly equipped 1977, this elbow, just below the carb, leads to a hose, which leads to... nothing (it's capped off)
I thought it might have once have gone to the charcoal canister through the VTV valve, but that appears to be a port in the carb base. The brake vacuum line comes off a port in the intake manifold and the PVC valve connects to the back of the carburetor. The cruiser runs fairly well (given all it's mods) I'm just wondering if I can remove the elbow, or cap it at the elbow?
