I'm fine it isn't there,,,,, but, if it is, it needs to do something,,,,

Post up some pics of your cluster, maybe a wanted add for the needed parts will get it going and it will be OEM and work how it was designed. There is a great thread on here where someone took apart there whole cluster, cleaned it up and restored it. Now who knows how far you need to go but they aren’t that tuff to clean up.
The problems with it are very fixable. Reality is I will probably send it of for a rehab/refurb with @RAGINGMATT . The oil pressure gage doesn't work, disconnected,,,, and the lights don't work (burned out?), the some of the odometer numbers are not readable, dents and scratches,,,,,,

This —> “There is a great thread on here where someone took apart there whole cluster, cleaned it up and restored it.”, is why I keep harping on trying s search, rather than asking everyone to keep repeating themselves.

Not you @casey, the OP.

@bj40green ’s most excellent thread —> Clusters, Gauges, Speedo & Odo meters

Also, there are several easily found threads on Dakota Digital... search,

So, from here on out NO ONE is to post any questions or comments because it has already been addressed in a previous post and to post it offends your sensibilities and then you feel compelled to post that it has already been posted, which you have already posted in a previous post so you are doing what you are condemning others for doing,,,,

Well, we have a conundrum...

To question or not to question, that Is not the question.

Those who refuse to even attempt to answer their own questions, prior to imploring others to give me this, tell me that, etc. are doomed by, their own laziness, to perpetually wasting everyone’s time... and ultimately, to being on the “ignore” list of many users.

Check your threads... every time I suggested you search, I also provided ample examples of how to successfully search, using MUD search examples, as well as Google search examples.

It’s not a matter of sensibilities, it’s merely an abhorrence of valuing one’s own time more than the time of others.

I don’t normally make a habit of caring who asks what, or how often.

The exception occurs when the question is so glaringly simple that it’s completely obvious that no attempt was made at self help.

I especially enjoyed this thread Engine Bay Photo

At any rate, my feelings are known and the “ignore” button has been pressed.

Relax and Carry On.
