So, the 2018 LC we picked up this summer did not include the factory tire carrier. It was deleted when the original owner replaced the rear bumper with a Slee rear with swing outs.

For several reasons... wife's primary vehicle, towing, etc. I am thinking of adding the factory tire carrier components back in. Looking at the Slee bumper installation manual, it looks like this is an option. The following is a picture of my truck's very vacant rear underside...

Looking online, it looks like I need the following parts, but just wanted to confirm from someone who has installed this bumper and knows for sure before I start ordering stuff:

1. Cross Member - 51949-60030
2. Cross Member Bracket (x2) - 51941-60140
3. Stopper - 51904-60092
4. Spare Tire Carrier - 51900-60322
5. Guide Tube - 51942-60050
6. Guide - 51923-60030
7. Stop - 51933-60170
8. Cushion - 51979-60020

Thanks!

Thanks!

My suggestion would be to check with installers that do the LRA tanks (Slee, Cruiser Brothers, etc.) as the middle and largest sized tanks require removal of the spare tire carrier and components. I would assume that kind of stuff gets tossed. Would be worth reaching out to them to see if you can save some money.

I have an email out to Christo now. Thought the same thing plus if I can throw business their way, all the better!

I have one that I am about to throw in the garbage. Pay to ship it, or if someone wants to come pick it up...

@terdrocket PM me some pics. Just want to be sure it is not rusted much. I'd be interested.

Ok. Cool. I’ll pay to have it all boxed and shipped.

Not sure about you but I wouldn't post a full address online. Maybe a PM matter.

Also I'd add the litte rubber bumpers to that or your rims may end up with scuffs, depending on tire size and clearance.

👍
I will send a small box of all the bolts that I removed, as well.
I am glad I didn't toss it out and that you can use it.

That sounds great. Let me know how much it will be to box and ship. Does PayPal work?
