Tried taking off my inner door panel to acces the window regulator and see the extent of rust. I couldn't get it off without forcing the window winder. I quit before I wrecked it. How does it come off?

must be a 45LV. if so, on the winders(and door openiers I think)there is a little pin that must be punched out, then the handles will come off, you need to push in on the little cover, then you will see the pin, push it all the way thru

This is a 78pick-up (see signature) No pin that I can see. More help pls.

OK.......well then there is a C clip-ish type thingy holding the crank on, just in on the panel a bit and you will see it, now take a rag and with the open end of the clip facing up, get the edge of the rag down there, then pull down and side to side and the clip will pop out..........its just like a GM product as far as the handle.
