I'm out of ideas for my '95.
The problem: one injector is constantly dumping fuel. It had started running terribly and eventually dying. I found the injector while doing a compression check. All other cylinders were right around 175 psi while the number 4 cylinder was at 275 (filled with gas). After removing the gauge, I turned the engine over and a massive amount of fuel was pumped out. After a visible check, I could see the injector was constantly filling the cylinder with fuel. Also, there is a plume of white smoke with a strong fuel smell from the tailpipe.
What I've done so far: I changed all the injectors, and gave it a set of new plugs. Still doing the same thing. I've checked my timing and ignition and all is well there. It seems that my other injectors are all working great. I unplugged the problem injector from the harness and it ran slightly better. However, it was still pumping the white fuel smell smoke (I'm sure there is still some residual fuel to burn off...and I poured Mystery Oil down the cylinder before start up to lube the piston and cylinder as the fuel has washed them).
I'm at a point where I'm wondering if the ECU is the problem. TPS and other sensors that might affect injectors would affect all them...right?
Thoughts on the issue? Am I crazy for thinking ECU at this point?
