Hello all,

Drivers window OK.

The other three... Not so good.

All windows work from their dedicated door switch and can be LOCKED-OUT from the master button.

Replaced Master Switch console with known working unit.
Traced -multimetered- yellow/black wire to the junction box. OK
Pulled Harness and found no cuts.
Multimetered all other wires of harness-FB All indicated no disconnect.
Multimetered yellow/black wire to driver side passenger switch -OK
Lights on the master switch -window switches-, turn off/on with the window lock button.
Power door locks work.

Help?

Anyone gone through this and find the culprit?

Relay? ECU? MASTER switch fuse?

corrosion on master switch harness plug? passenger window stopped working from my master switch, cleaning the contacts of plug and switch fixed it. mine is a 2000. the circuit might have gotten more advanced on later years

on other lexus products of this era, when the battery is disconnected, the master switch will not work for the other three windows until such time that each window is fully rolled down and back up from the switch located on the respective door. sounds like this is a similar problem.

You may need to simply reset the window ecu by doing the following:

1. with all windows rolled up, disconnect battery for 5-10 minutes
2. reconnect battery
3. roll passenger door window fully down and fully back up from the passenger door switch
4. repeat step 3 for each of the rear doors...

see if it works. good luck

Had a similar problem with my front passenger window, took apart the door switch panel drivers side opened it completely to expose each individual contact and found grit and restricted movement. If the switch did not slide to neutral position the other switch would not work. Cleaned with electrical cleaner, and applied a little dialectic grease and problem solved!

Thanks. Tried. No Joy. Is there a window ECU?

I had the same issue and it turned oput to be several broken wires at the hinge. A fat Red, skinny yellow/black, fat blue, and a skinny white/black.

00 LC. same symptoms. Master Switch will not do anything and all the other Window Switches work. We found a broken Blue Wire in the Loom between the Body & Door. Repaired Wire and everything works.
