Inexpensive tailgate idea? (1 Viewer)

I'd like for it to open.. I see a lot that look like ambulance doors cut off flush with the top, and still swing open. Are these something people buy or make?

Other than cutting a couple 2x8's I'm not sure how to make something there..

guy i sold my hard top to was going to do this. was going to use the barn doors from his and then cut the ambulance doors to fit.
