Is it really as easy as, "Take this key to your Locksmith to have cut to fit your car."???
My 98 came with a shell (broken) but no keyblade. Seems like an ideal solution...

i took mine to lowes, they put it in their automated machine, and presto! new key. also, no charge. works like the original

Yep, it works. I replaced the battery too, and mine works from a good 20-30 feet away. 
I bought two from this guy. Good solution to the broken key problem. Replace the battery at the same time and assemble with some blue locktite. Watch the screw for loosening as that's when the keys get damaged.

Got the new case in the mail and it is nice. Good fit and finish and should be stronger with the new screw location.
Went outside to try it out and only the unlock button works, lock button no workey...
Also, can't lock the truck from driver's side switch, only passenger side.
Oh well, I'll go and get it cut and at least have another functioning key.

Master key/shell . . .
My new key/shell finally came. Had it cut, swapped the innards in less than 3 minutes & it works like a champ
For $25, it sure beats $230 the stealer wants for whole one.

You should get it soon . . .
I did the "buy it now" on a Sunday and it came on Monday a week later. He's got a 100% feedback with 500+ transactions, so rest assured yours will come in a couple more days.

Just ordered and got mine and it took exactly a week for me too, FWIW.
Just bought two of these -- seller forgot to ship one, so I emailed him and he took care of it right away. Looks well built and is less than 10% of dealer price for new key with remote.
