Increased Departure Angle? (1 Viewer)

I saw a '04 LX470 the other day and it had the class 5 hitch integrated into the bumper. It just had a small plastic cover removed and the hitch/ball inserted into the bumper. No hitch below the bumper. Does anyone know if this is frame change that allowed that to be available?

Advantage - Increased departure angle.

Disadvantage - No protection at all for the plastic bumper cover.
