Importing from Europe (1 Viewer)

Hey new to the forum but have been doing a lot of reading around here. I've been looking around for a 70 series for a while. I've found a 1987 bj73 in Spain and have been emailing back and forth with the owner who seems like a decent guy. He's sent me a ton of pictures and a few videos and everything seems good.

I'm trying to get some advice on 1) how to go about having the truck checked out by somebody and 2) any help on where I should begin with the importing process. Anybody have any recommendations, advice or tips? He has pretty much sent me pictures of every angle of the truck and sent me a picture of what he said was the only rust spot but again I'm new at this and just wanting to see what others have done.

I am trying to import a 1990 LC diesel HDJ80 into canada from the US - all is fine except that the required sticker on the inside of the driver's door - is not present
Canada customs rewuires that apart from the Title (clean) I provide a proof of date of manufacturing by producung a letter from Toyota ,,
Toyota Canada says they cannot proivide this since they do not have the VIN in their records ( the vehicle was imported from germany to the US ) it has a clean NY state title
can you guide me on this I woudl greattly appreciate your help
