100 series guy: I wave and older series folks tend to wave back. Anybody with a built rig waves, stares or follows you for a good look.

Wave and park in groups whenever possible.

Back when I had my CBR600-F4i I would wave at anything on two wheels. Harley guys would rarely wave back. Always puzzled my why they'd shun.

Probably because you didn't use the "cool" Harley wave and/or you rode a rice rocket. I always attributed it to riding Japanese when I had Hondas.

I rode a Norton Commando (several actually) for about 35 years. Didn't get much wave from Harley guys either, but if I stopped somewhere offering liquid refreshments for sale, then they showed interest.

Occasional waves and/or random parking lot conversations with other LC owners. However, I get more thumbs up--and motorcycle thumbs up--when in the Porsche. Friendly race challenges when gassing up sometimes too. It's all good.
