Does anyone know how long the Intermediate Shaft is? Trying to tell if mine is compromised. Mine is 18" long

Was it '86 the 60 series went to a different steering shaft? My understanding is the late 60 and 62 series share the same shaft and my 62 does not have the rubber cover (but there is a metal shield bolted into place over it).

Mine has a rubber boot, but its an LS swap, so who knows. I want to get the length so that I have something to compare to.
