That stinger design was started by rock crawlers. I guess it helps ease the front end over large boulders in a steep approach...or something like that. Works great for pedestrians and shopping carts too.

i think along with the rockcrawling uses, they use them down under as " 'roo bars". keeps them from smoking your windshield when you run them down?

I was always under the impression stingers were for steep 'downhill' kinda climbs, to try and prevent you from flipping ass over tea kettle kinda thing.

regardless, some of them look pretty cool.

I took My Dad out in it on fathers day. It weeled ok. Not like my 40. Theres just too much body I also Miss my low range
