ok, last year, i missed my nephew's bday cause i was in norway...this year, i just spaced it. it was ten days ago...HELP!!! he was born in 95, so, he's 10-ish...parents are beyond rich, so anything he wants he most likely has two of, i'm beyond poor, so i'm in the $30 range. what can i get him in the next day or two that is cool enough to have more than one of, or is weird but cool enough that he won't have it. for regional stuff, he's in malibu, i'm in denver, if that makes a difference.

Offroad driving lessons in the rocky mountains. Let his folks pay airfare. Don't let them find out until afterwards.

I've managed to forget all of my nieces' and nephews' birthdays, graduations, marriages, divorces, deliveries (not necessarily in that order). Hell, I'm so bad. I forgive you.

Bottom line is it has to be cool. Tickets to a cool group he likes. Or maybe a hang gliding lesson. Tandem skydiving package. Ducan pro yo-yo :D

Box kite ? Model rocket set ?

Lava lamp ? Bonzai tree and book ?

    Piercing gift certificate ?

    Cool stickers ?

10 years old? How protective are the parents?

Once I moved out, I started buying my younger brothers bb guns, wrist rockets, etc.

My vote is for a softair gun. They're reasonably safe, within your price range, and still pretty cool for a kid his age unless he's a dork. Don't bother with anything less than 250 fps or he'll get laughed at.

personally, if he is a brat and if he doesn't come visit i would ignore it. just let it go and if the folks call just tell them straight that you have stopped celebrating birthdays.
that's what i did. actually i highly doubt HE will even know...
    cheers

Has he ever shown the slightest interest in your rig? If so, Land cruiser hat, that japanese logo shirt from SOR, etc. My nephews love logo/brand clothes.

If he's not into cruisers and you don't think you'll ever have a chance/the desire to steer him in the right direction, forget it, write him off! :flipoff2:
