Ignition stuck and tempermental (1 Viewer)

So, I put the key in and it will not turn -

Wiggle wiggle - then pull out just a hair - turns perfect -

now should I blast it out with WD40? try to get it to turn easier?

or is it just old and in need of a new ignition...?

Sounds like either your key or your ignition (or both) are worn. I would spray with some Lok-ease (has carbon in it) and if that didn't work, well, replacements are available from CDan or SOR.
